Kickball and Weather

So our kickball season has officially started...
We are the PeeWee Stingrays!
Serenity likes her coach and she loves the practices that she has been having. We have already has 2 scrimmages and our first official game is Tuesday of next week.
We are excited. I just hope that we have our uniforms, socks, and bows by then...
We will see!
It is raining harder here than it has in a while and sadly our front porch is flooded due to it raining so badly.
I don't mind right now; cause I don't plan on going anywhere and as long as it doesn't come in my house its fine.
I'm looking forward to school starting back up next week, although our Spring Break was short and boring due to the weather here.
Oh well; what can you do!

whats been going on?

Wow, I haven't been very social lately with my blogging friends.
I hope that I can get back to blogging as much as I used to.

This weekend is going to be packed full of fun and chaos.
I'm ready for it though.
Serenity has a Ballet performance in the Harbor Lights Parade this Saturday. Its going to be an all day thing and its colder than icicles outside. Brrrr!!!!
She and I both are extremely excited. She has been practicing so hard on her performance and getting it just right. She is really looking forward to it. If I could put her in the class everyday I would; but they don't offer it everyday. stinks!
She is going to be dressed so cute and girlie. I am so happy with the costumes that they picked for the parade and performance, and the greatest thing is that it wasn't expensive. I will have to take pictures and post them later today.
I have already seen New Moon, but I am excited to be able to go with my girlfriend Lindey this weekend to go and see it again. She has yet to see it, and I want to see it again. I haven't seen her in a while, and what better way than to go to a movie and relax without the kiddo's if you get the chance. I'm really looking forward to it!

Andrew and I both have crazy schedules this coming week and I hope that we are able to keep up with them. We have so many appointments its crazy. Andrew has speech therapy sessions and other things and I have x rays to go through and then doctors appointments as well.
It's just going to be a crazy week.
Michael has exams all week for college and next week too and then he is done for the semester and then he starts up again next month.
I am so proud of him and the progress that he is making.
He is really doing well.
All in all we have been very busy and its about to get busier!
I love it!

rain outside

It started pouring down rain a few minutes ago.
I still have to go and get Serenity from the bus stop so it looks like I will be taking the car to go and get her. Either that or the umbrella.

I have had a pretty numb day. I woke up about an hour ago. I haven't been feeling well again lately and I think that the fact that I haven't had enough sleep is starting to catch up with me.
I maybe get a few hours of sleep a night. 2-3 hours if that!
I go to the Dr. in the morning, but I can honestly tell you that I don't know what he is going to do.
I am hoping that he can just give me something that will help me sleep and feel better!

I finally got down to business and am going to be taking the kids Christmas pictures soon.
I just hope that they come out descent. I love that I get to dress them up and take their pictures. I'm thinking of doing the cards this year with their pictures in them.
So I am excited about that!

I look forward to the Christmas season every year.
I am looking forward to Thanksgiving because that is the day that we put up our Christmas Tree and decorate everything.
I love it!
To me its the best time of the year.

I am excited that we might be able to move soon.
My friend Danielle is finally going to be moving into her own home in a few days or a week or so.
The papers are signed and they are just waiting to hear back from the people to know that everything is finalized.
I can not wait for the day that I will have my own home and be able to call it my own.

One Day
Some Day!
Soon I hope!

I am just so excited for her and her family. They will be welcoming their 3rd addition to the family in a few weeks as well and HE will have a room all to himself.
They deserve it and have worked hard for it.

Finally some Cooler Weather

I love this weather that we are having here in the deepest of South Texas!
As I sit here and I type this I can hear the wind chimes outside my front door and window's chiming away at the little breeze that we have around here.
It's so pretty to me.
I think that the only complaint that I have is that these mosquito's are like any other... They seem to be industrial or something. You can hot them a few times and they still manage to make it through. I on the other hand have been using my trusty fly swatter due to the fact that these suckers just refuse to die.
Today is the 2nd day of fall, but it is officially the 1st day that Serenity got to finally wear pants to school, because it was actually cool enough. She was excited...she loves this weather too' probably more than I do.
She gets to go outside at school and play at the playground because the mosquito's wont be too bad there and she gets to wear a jacket; which she loves.
(Daddy and Serenity before they walked out the door to go to school)

I went to Wally-World last night and finally got a few more things for the apartment to decorate and then I realized that I bought things last year and had to get them out of storage.

FALL is here!

So it's officially the 1st day of FALL and I am excited to start decorating the apartment here.
I look forward to it every year and I get excited too because it's a few steps closer to decorating for Christmas.
I have to say that this is My FAVORITE time of year...
The leaves changing colors and just the things that come with this season.
I love the colors, the holidays, and just the excitement if it all.
I love to take pictures; so I am looking forward to that opportunity as well.

I finally got a new mouse for my computer today...It has been so annoying that I haven't had one to use with my laptop for over two weeks. It's cute cause it's wireless and the fact that there is no longer a large stick protruding out of the side of my laptop is nice as well.

Michael got a few new games for his XBox 360 today as well and is playing that as we speak.
I am about to head out and get my daughter off the school bus.
I look forward to doing homework with her everyday when she comes home.
She loves it too!

Andrew is playing in his room with my sister's new dog that she got yesterday.
She is a dachshund and is adorable. They named her Annie... She is 3 months old and cute and as sweet as can be.

I am getting ready to head to Walmart to go and get some decorating tools for the house.
I will try and post pics as soon as I can.

A Great Week to Weekend

The week ahead is going to be a busy one.
We have so much to do and it seems that we have so little time to do it in.
I hate that I have to wait till one gets out of school to really be able to go and do anything with my kids, but I don't want her missing school for these things.
I look forward to a fun week ahead and an even better weekend.
Bayfest is this weekend and we are hoping that its not too Hot to get to go and that we will have lots of fun.
We plan on heading to the Beach as well this weekend if the weather let's us.
I am really looking forward to getting out of the house!

I wanna get some pictures taken of the family as well as just do some family fun activities!

Can't wait!

Wednesday Morning Rush

So thankfully I am starting to feel a bit better.
I am in no way out of the woods, but I feel better and that's what counts right now.
I still have to go back in 2 months for another checkup and of course the surgery to remove the sting that they put in last week, but overall I am just happy that I am not in pain right now.

Serenity has school pictures today and she also has Ballet to night.
I am sitting here waiting for Connor and Danielle to get here.
Danielle has a Dr's. appointment and has to go through the 3 hour glucose test and its just not suitable for Connor to have to sit there for three hours while momma has to go through tests.

I am definitely going to have to take a short nap today after he leaves because it was a long night and I had to get up earlier today than usual. I am definitely looking forward to my head hitting the pillow either then or tonight.

Andrew even woke up earlier this morning and is in such a great mood.
Today was Serenity's turn to take snack at school so she wanted to take Vanilla Wafers and juice boxes. Daddy decided to take them to school and give them to the teacher rather than they end up being left on the bus or even worse spilled or accidentally opened up.

So far that is my day, but all in all I guess that I wouldn't have it any other way!

Monday' Monday

Today starts off a busy week ahead and we are jumping right into it full speed.
I am looking forward to getting things done around the house while also going into town and getting things done as well.
Mike's sister Aurora is 19 today and my MIL is out of town with family so we will be helping her to celebrate it. I am looking forward to this because we haven't gotten to spend that much time with that side of the family in a while.
~Everything for school is officially bought and Serenity picked out her own shoes. She calls em' kicker's...I think she gets that from her Aunt Aurora.
She has all her uniform shirts, shorts, pants, and skirts that she needs for the entire year.
We are really looking forward to the first day.
Tomorrow she meets her teacher as well.
Serenity goes to school for the entire day until 3pm. so that is a milestone in and of itself. Last year she only went half day so going all day is a big deal. On top of that she will have Ballet during the week and I'm sure that I will not have much if any problems with her falling asleep at night.
We haven't done naps in a while, so its good to know that she will not have a real problem going to sleep.
Andrew on the other hand is my night owl...

Going into town...

It's Saturday; and that means that it's date night for me and Michael.
We are going to go out to eat at Olive Garden and then to the movies.
I have no clue as to what we are going to watch, but I am thinking something along the lines of action or romance. Most likely action.
Also we are about to head out into town so we can get Serenity's hair cut, because we didn't get to do that yesterday. We are also going out to town to get Serenity some more leotards, tights, and ballet shoes. She starts on Wednesday, so we have allot to get ready and to do.
I bought her a cool little hair contraption that makes a bun in her hair and makes it look absolutely perfect.
I am looking forward to her first class and getting to meet her teacher and her classmates.
