How I am feeling...

I have woke up the past few nights with severe pain in my kidney's, back, and ribs. I think that it all has to do with the surgery that I just had, but the pain is like no other. I don't really know how to describe it. I feel as though I have been hit by a truck.
I am looking forward to the day that I can wake up in the morning happy and ready to go and do whatever needs to be done. I want to be able to say that I am healthy again and that I am ready for anything.
That day I am sure will come soon.
There are just a few kinks that I need to work out first.

Serenity and Andrew are at Grandma's because I just had surgery and I am in no shape to watch them right now. They have been there 2 days and I feel as though they have been gone forever; so I am looking forward to them coming home tonight or tomorrow.
The Dr. said that I can not lift over 3 lbs. so my MIL thought that I should leave the kids with her. It has been nice not having to deal with the random screaming and crying, but I miss the laughter and the fun that we have when they are here.
I'm sure that we will get back to that routine soon. Looking forward to it.
I am sure that Serenity will come home crying because she doesn't want to leave Aunt Aurora or Grandma, but it will only be for a little while.
Andrew is his own person, there are times that he will cry and times that he will be relieved. So I think we will have to see on that one.

I just want my kids home with me so that I can feel somewhat normal again!

My Surgery Explanation...

My kidney Surgery went great. Sadly though they had to insert another stint because I have allot of stones. I have allot of uric acid build up on my kidney walls, so I have to have another stint in for two more months. Disappointing; but I need to change things so I don't end up losing my kidney! The original stone and stint were removed, but another one was inserted in its place. Please continue to pray for me if you can.
I am nervous and SCARED all at the same time. I have anxiety and depression about it, but I know that the Lord is working things out and that. He is taking care of me. It is not a solo project; its something that I have to change about my whole life and my families life as well.
I am on antibiotics again and pain pills to relieve some of the issues that I have from the surgery, but I am trying not to take the pain pills unless absolutely needed. I am on a medication as well to help remove the uric acid from the lining of my kidney's for the next 2 months. Then I will return to the Dr. for a checkup and from then I will know if I will need surgery again; or if I will have to take further measures. I am praying that these things will help in the process of healing my kidneys.

Always praying and hoping in Christ' name!

Here is a picture of my daughter Serenity.
This morning she wore red, white, and blue in remembrance of 9/11.
I think that she looks adorable.

The night before my surgery

So tomorrow morning is my surgery for my kidney stone and stint to be removed. The Dr's. will also be going in to look and see if there are any problems anywhere else that could be causing the extreme pain that I am constantly in.
I am not looking forward to finding out that there is something majorly wrong with me; so I am praying that they do not find anything.
I am looking forward to this surgery in the since that I am finally going to be able to sleep at night and be able to (not to get personal) but be able to pee normally again.
I have everything ready that I need and I have to be there at 9 in the morning to get signed in and into a room so that they can prep me for everything that I am going to have done.

Wish me luck everyone! Say a prayer!
Love you guys!

What to do today?

Today has been a pretty lazy day so far. It's as if we have nothing to do, but knowing that there is plenty to do to fill the day.
There is always more cleaning that can be done and I'm sure that even though I did all the laundry yesterday that there is laundry somewhere within this house that needs to be washed.
I could bathe the dog and the cats, I could rearrange the furniture, or I guess that I could just try and find something to clean. But then again I can do all these things on Monday when my schedule returns.
I am going to have a pretty busy week after Monday so I want to be sure that I have all those thing done so that when I have my surgery and I get to come home that I wont have to do any of these things.

I think that we might take the kiddo's to the beach depending on the heat and then maybe head to the shops out on the Island.
I was thinking that I just want to go and look around and see what they have.
I just want to get out of the house for a while before I end up stuck here because of the surgery!

I guess that we will have to see what happens.
