Happy 26th Birthday Honey!

Heading out to eat with the Hubby to help celebrate his birthday!
He will be turning 26 tomorrow.
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband.

I will be sure to take plenty of pictures.
We are headed out to at and then maybe a few more places.
Like I said I will try and post pictures soon.

My daughters school pictures came in yesterday and I am looking forward to getting them scanned so that I can share them with the Blogger world.

A Boy and his Cars

Andrew loves playing with his Hat Wheel cars.

For some reason this blue and gold one is his Favorite.

I just had to catch him in action...

He just can't get enough of these things. I think that I am going to go crazy when he turns 4 and just buy a whole lotta' Hot Wheels.

All about Andrew?

OK so If you haven't noticed yet; I have been talking about Andrew allot lately.
Well he will be turning 4 in December so I will probably be talking about him allot.

I am excited yet it tells me that my baby is growing up and that scares me to a point.

I will be posting about more than him, but that is the reason that I am posting so much about him.
Just giving the heads up!

Oh Boy!

Andrew is definitely a BOY!
I never knew that when I was in the delivery room and they shouted out
"It's a Boy"
that I was going to be in for an awakening for my life.
I love it!
I love that he is such a Boy!
I always wanted someone that would help me to become in sink with the part of the world that I didn't really know about.
He helps me understand that a bug is just a bug, that dirt is dirt and it don't hurt.
He also helps me understand better that kids are washable... haha!
I love being able to go outside with him and play in the mud like I used to when I was a kid.
I remember the dirt pies; you know the ones that you would put the bugs in and not tell anyone...

I remember in my grandmother's backyard and wading through the brush in the back to try and find the cat that had just had kittens and stealing one and taking to grandma and asking if we could keep it. Never seemed to fail that we never could, but it was worth the try.
Days like these with my son remind me of how good things were back then.

If Only a hint...

Sometimes I sit and wonder when it will be our turn...
When will we get the house that I feel we deserve and the break that we need? It's so hard sometimes.
You know; when my husband lost his job a few months back I thought that our whole world was going to fall apart and at times I feel it has. But I do know that it has opened a door that we thought would never be opened again.
Michael has started college again and is doing very well.
He is working his patootie off to just try and make it through the month.

I know that the Lord has his reasons for everything... sometimes I just wish that he would just give us a hint at times; even though I know that if He did that we wouldn't learn the lesson that we are supposed to.
I just want to live a happy and healthy life with my husband and my kids. I look forward to the day where I can say that I have my own home, but until then I will thank the Lord for what I DO have and praise Him and be grateful.
