Moms funeral today

My mother's funeral will be today and then they will be cremating her and sending her ashes to me and my sister. This is what she asked for.
We plan on having our own little service for her here and then spreading her ashes as she hoped across the ocean here at the beach that we live near by.
Its going to be hard, but I think that it will make the process easier and that we will have our own way of saying goodbye like we needed.
It's still hard to believe that she is gone and that I cant just call her up and say Hello.
I feel as though it hasn't completely hit me yet that she is gone and that I cant reach her the way that I used to.
I know that she is better off and that I can rest assure that she is in Heaven with our Father who loves us and takes care of us. I believe that she left this earth walking hand in hand with Jesus.

I love you mom and I will always love you and miss you!
Hugs, Love, and kisses to you!
Be blessed and I will see you again someday!

Dealing with Death at this moment

It's going to be a hard day today.
My moms funeral is today and I am unable to attend due to financial situations.
My grandmother on my dads side passed away yesterday morning and some very good friends of mine their grandfather passed away this morning.
Death is always around us, but lately it has been around us crazily.
I am stressed and I broken.

I don't even know how to take care of myself lately. I just cant fathom any of this.
I'm so confused and I don't understand it right now.
I know that God has a plan and that nothing but good will come of this, but its so hard.
God never said that this life would be easy.
"He never promised that the cross would not get heavy that the hill would not be hard to climb.
He never offered our victories without fighting, but he said that help would always come in time."
I believe that He will help me make since of all of this in His timing.
I keep Faith in this and it gives me strength!

Wednesdays for Wyatt!

Here we go! Our second Wednesday for Wyatt! It’s quite simple to participate. All you have to do is copy and paste this post on your blog, and come back here to link up with MckLinky! Once you do that, your all set to win a great giveaway. Kristi, on of the dear women who follow my family's story has generously donated some handmade buckeye's jewelry. Thank you Kristi!

Over the last week we have gotten 123 new signatures! Over 100 of those we got last Wednesday alone. And we had 34 wonderful bloggers link up... I can't wait to see how much Wednesdays for Wyatt will grow this week!

For those of you who are not familiar with my family and what we are trying to achieve, here’s a brief run down...

Our son Wyatt was diagnosed with a fatal condition at our 18 week ultrasound, but chose to carry him to term. We waited to meet our son with love, all the time praying we would get to see him alive.

On June 1, 2009, Wyatt made his way into the world by c-section. To our amazement he had a faint heartbeat and was breathing! He died two minutes later, but I’ve clung to the two minutes my son and I breathed the same air since his passing.

Upon calling to get a copy of Wyatt’s birth certificate, I found out he was listed as a stillborn. You would assume it was a mistake (like I did), but there was no mistake. According to the definition of live birth in Tennessee my son was not “alive enough” to be deemed a live born baby. His two minutes of life has gone unrecognized by my state, and I intend to change this piece of legislation so I can solidify the validity of my son’s short life.

Wednesdays for Wyatt was created to help spread awareness for a law that needs to be changed, as well as to generate more traffic to my petition. So if you’re reading this, thanks for taking the time to help our family!

My Momma!

When I woke up this morning I had no idea that I would be in the condition that I am in now.
I am numb. I am cold. I feel at a loss for words.
I honestly sit here with no idea what to say or how to say it.

I'm having a really hard time with this right now and I don't even know how to handle it.
I don't know how to feel, think, or even react.
I don't know whether to be upset, mad, angry, confused, separated, or what even.
Its all just a blur to me.

MY MOM HAS PASSED AWAY!
What am I gonna do without my momma?
I haven't seen her since June, but I know that she wasn't in good health.
I know that I called her last week when she had the stroke and found out that she had an aneurysm on her brain. But she was doing OK. I know that she was hurting last night and that she went to bed and never woke up.
My step father woke up and realized that she wasn't awake yet and that she hadn't gotten up to make the usual morning coffee.
He went in to check on her and found her cold and blood coming out of her nose, mouth, and ears.
I know that she is walking hand in hand with Jesus as of last night.
That He came and He walked her home to her mansion in Glory.

That alone gives me some peace and hope!

I am looking forward to tonight and getting out of the house for a bit.
We are headed to the race track here in Corpus and I haven't been since I was a kid to a race there.
I went a few months ago but just for a meet and greet and that was it.
So its like going again for the first time. I am going to try and take as many pictures as I can.

We will be heading there with a few friends and we are taking the kids with us as well.

I look forward to it!

Letting Go

I hope you receive something in this article that will give you peace amidst your circumstance.

L E T T I N G • G O

By T.D. Jakes

There are people who can walk away from you. And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk. I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone.

When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

The bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]

People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay.

Let them go.

And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead.. You've got to know when it's dead.

You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something.. I've got the gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye.. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay.

Let them go!!

If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was never intended for your life, then you need to......

LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains .......

LET IT GO!!!

If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your worth......

LET IT GO!!!

If someone has angered you.

LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge.....

LET IT GO!!!

If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction... .

LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents

LET IT GO!!!

If you have a bad attitude.... ...

LET IT GO!!!

If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better......

LET IT GO!!!

If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in Him.........

LET IT GO!!!

If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship. ....

LET IT GO!!!

If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves.. ....

LET IT GO!!!

If you're feeling depressed and stressed ............

LET IT GO!!!

If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself and God is saying 'take your hands off of it,' then you need to......

LET IT GO!!!

"The Battle is the Lord's!"

During the next 60 seconds: Stop whatever you are doing, and take this opportunity... (Literally it is only ONE minute!)

Simply say 'The Lords Prayer'. There's no complaining in it. No questions of why. Only praying the answer. We all could take a lesson from this, me included. Say the Lord's Prayer:

The Lords Prayer

Our Father, who are in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, forever.
Amen.

Stop and think and appreciate God's power in your life, and do what you know is pleasing to Him!

Update on my Momma

Mom's surgery is at a stand still. She had a stroke this morning and they found that she has a aneurysm on her brain this afternoon. We are waiting to see what they decide about the surgery. She has a stimulator in hr spine so they can not do a ...MRI at this time, but we are praying that she will make it through all this. She says that she woke up to go to the bathroom and that she all of a sudden lost her sight.

Just found out that my mom....

Here we go...
I haven't talked to my mom since I was I was in Ky. a few months ago.
Well I asked my sister who is pregnant to call her and tell her that she is pregnant.
Well she called and we found out that my mom has had a stroke and that she now has a brain aneurysm. She will be having emergency surgery in the morning and I am just praying that she makes it through the surgery.

I really don't know how to feel.
I know that she is my mother and I know that the bible says that you should honor thy mother and thy father.
I try so hard to do that. I honestly just don't talk to her and she has nothing to do with me so I don't know what to think or even feel at the moment.
