Late start...

I am so exhausted lately that I overslept this morning by 30 minutes and when I finally opened my eyes it was 10 minutes till the school bus got here.
I had to rush like crazy just to get my daughter up and ready to go.
I was so worried that we weren't going to get her there in time.
I didn't even care at the time weather she was in a good mood or not; I just wanted to get her ready and out the door to go to the bus stop.
Thankfully though she did not give me any kind of trouble and she woke up in a really good mood.

Needless to say I was so tired that I slept through the three alarms that my husband had set on his cell phone and had just so happened to set next to my head on the bed. So I say that I should have heard them...
I was seriously praying that my husband would get her to the bus stop without having to run like a mad man... and he said that he had to actually wait for the bus to get there this time. Usually we get her out there 5 minutes before the bus comes so that she has plenty of time and I don't have to worry that she is going to be late....

Thank the Lord that I wasn't the only one running a little late this morning!!!

Freshly Squeezed...

Since all this crud has been happening with my kidney's I am no longer "aloud" to have anything to drink other than water. And there inst anything that I am "aloud" to add to it for flavoring other than LEMON...
So I did my usual today and added my LEMON to my water and left the lemon on the counter thinking that it was OK...
Well a few minutes later my son sits next to me with lemon remains in hand and starts to eat whats left of the freshly squeezed fruit.I decided to grab my camera and snap a few shots of the faces that he was making because as we all know, Lemon is sour!!! *;)
(just look at that sour face...LOL!)

Today was also Serenity's first day in her "NEW" Ballet class. It's better where she is at now, because she is not only doing Ballet, but she is doing Tap and Acro as well.
She did so well and couldn't wait to come home and demonstrate what all she did in class to me. I am so proud of her and the accomplishments that she is making. The teacher said that she picked up very quickly with the tap and even asked if she had any previous training because she did so well with it. (which she hasn't) She was in Ballet with another company in town, but with the way that things are lately it is better where she is now, because we don't have to drive almost 30 minutes just to get her there worrying if she is going to fall asleep in the back seat due to the fact that she has school all day and gets worn out fast.
Here are a few pictures that I took of Serenity trying to show me what she did today and her all dressed and ready to go.she is wearing as sticker that she earned for doing so well.

Changes being made

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be changing a few things on my blog. I have asked Traci at "Ordinary Inspirations" to design my blogger page so that I can add more to it and have it the way that I want it.

She created a custom header for me and changed my blog to a "3 column" look, by altering the HTML code. Please check out her Graphics Website (Click Here).

Thank you all for your patience and thank you TRACI for all your Blogger help as well.
Cant wait. Should be up sometime this afternoon!

10 things I love about MY HUSBAND!

My husband is someone that I feel GOD ordained me to marry and brought us together.
I love and respect him and the role that he plays in my life.
  1. He is the greatest man that I know.
  2. He is the BEST father out there...
  3. He is a provider and sacrifices so that we ALL have and receive what we need.
  4. He is Patient and Kind.
  5. He is handsome and very sweet.
  6. He supports me in everything that I do; even if it is a bad idea; he gives me the benefit of the doubt.
  7. He is self sufficient and if I can't do it; he will jump in and totally do it...
  8. He is a family man and will do anything for them.
  9. He is talented and extremely motivated.
  10. He is a man of God!

I look forward everyday to waking up next to this man and falling asleep in his arms every night.
I love him more than anything in this world. He understands that the Lord is first and formost in my (our) lives and he understands everything about me.
What more can I say "I Love Him"

Weirdness I know, but It's me...

So I was reading Lynette's Blog and cam across the post where she wanted to read some of our blogs telling something weird or strange that we "like, love, have a passion for, wish you could do... that you don't usually admit for fear of weird looks."
So I guess here it goes!!!

I guess that I will actually tell you what I find weird about myself...
I hate birds... they actually scare me... I hover when I go to the beach or are out in public and see birds flying around everywhere. I had a bad experience as a child and I just don't feel that they are safe creatures...
And Mosquito's too...I often think to myself... Why didn't Noah smack the mosquito's when they tried to get on the Ark??? Seriously!!!

SO it's not anything too crazy, but to me it's a BIG deal!
But there you have it!

Finally some Cooler Weather

I love this weather that we are having here in the deepest of South Texas!
As I sit here and I type this I can hear the wind chimes outside my front door and window's chiming away at the little breeze that we have around here.
It's so pretty to me.
I think that the only complaint that I have is that these mosquito's are like any other... They seem to be industrial or something. You can hot them a few times and they still manage to make it through. I on the other hand have been using my trusty fly swatter due to the fact that these suckers just refuse to die.
Today is the 2nd day of fall, but it is officially the 1st day that Serenity got to finally wear pants to school, because it was actually cool enough. She was excited...she loves this weather too' probably more than I do.
She gets to go outside at school and play at the playground because the mosquito's wont be too bad there and she gets to wear a jacket; which she loves.
(Daddy and Serenity before they walked out the door to go to school)

I went to Wally-World last night and finally got a few more things for the apartment to decorate and then I realized that I bought things last year and had to get them out of storage.

For nature, it is a time of sowing, of scattering abroad. ~Edwin Way Teale

FALL is here!

So it's officially the 1st day of FALL and I am excited to start decorating the apartment here.
I look forward to it every year and I get excited too because it's a few steps closer to decorating for Christmas.
I have to say that this is My FAVORITE time of year...
The leaves changing colors and just the things that come with this season.
I love the colors, the holidays, and just the excitement if it all.
I love to take pictures; so I am looking forward to that opportunity as well.

I finally got a new mouse for my computer today...It has been so annoying that I haven't had one to use with my laptop for over two weeks. It's cute cause it's wireless and the fact that there is no longer a large stick protruding out of the side of my laptop is nice as well.

Michael got a few new games for his XBox 360 today as well and is playing that as we speak.
I am about to head out and get my daughter off the school bus.
I look forward to doing homework with her everyday when she comes home.
She loves it too!

Andrew is playing in his room with my sister's new dog that she got yesterday.
She is a dachshund and is adorable. They named her Annie... She is 3 months old and cute and as sweet as can be.

I am getting ready to head to Walmart to go and get some decorating tools for the house.
I will try and post pics as soon as I can.

A Great Week to Weekend

The week ahead is going to be a busy one.
We have so much to do and it seems that we have so little time to do it in.
I hate that I have to wait till one gets out of school to really be able to go and do anything with my kids, but I don't want her missing school for these things.
I look forward to a fun week ahead and an even better weekend.
Bayfest is this weekend and we are hoping that its not too Hot to get to go and that we will have lots of fun.
We plan on heading to the Beach as well this weekend if the weather let's us.
I am really looking forward to getting out of the house!

I wanna get some pictures taken of the family as well as just do some family fun activities!

Can't wait!

More Pain

We had a great time last night going out to eat and then going to the beach.
We decided to try and make a routine of it whenever we can.

I am starting to feel pain again when it comes to urinating and I think that its the stint that is giving me the problems. I just get worried when I feel the pain that I have something else wrong with me.

I just want everything to go back to normal. I get so tired lately and I cant sleep when I need to be sleeping. Its just so painful....

I just want to be normal again!

Date

So I decided that tonight I am going out with my hubby to eat and then head to the beach so that we can just talk and have fun.
I am really looking forward to it.

There is a group of our friends heading out tonight, but I don't know if we are going to make it out with them.
We will have to wait and see.
I finally found a babysitter and I am glad to say that I will use her again.

Looking forward to some much needed alone time with my Man.

Special Reminder's

When I think about my daughter I think about Elephants as well.
My daughter Serenity has had this elephant for a while now and refuses to go anywhere without it. I like that she uses it and has something to comfort her when I cant.
When it comes to my son, well he has an attatchment to this blanket with trains on it. He calls it his "CHOO CHOO" blankey. He has had it since Birth. His grandmother made it for him and he hardly ever lets me take it away long enough to wash it.

Wednesday Morning Rush

So thankfully I am starting to feel a bit better.
I am in no way out of the woods, but I feel better and that's what counts right now.
I still have to go back in 2 months for another checkup and of course the surgery to remove the sting that they put in last week, but overall I am just happy that I am not in pain right now.

Serenity has school pictures today and she also has Ballet to night.
I am sitting here waiting for Connor and Danielle to get here.
Danielle has a Dr's. appointment and has to go through the 3 hour glucose test and its just not suitable for Connor to have to sit there for three hours while momma has to go through tests.

I am definitely going to have to take a short nap today after he leaves because it was a long night and I had to get up earlier today than usual. I am definitely looking forward to my head hitting the pillow either then or tonight.

Andrew even woke up earlier this morning and is in such a great mood.
Today was Serenity's turn to take snack at school so she wanted to take Vanilla Wafers and juice boxes. Daddy decided to take them to school and give them to the teacher rather than they end up being left on the bus or even worse spilled or accidentally opened up.

So far that is my day, but all in all I guess that I wouldn't have it any other way!
