Serenity and her panda bear she won. This was the first time that she ever played a crane game. She won it from a machine at Texas Roadhouse.This is the balloon animal that Serenity had made for her at the Texas Road house as well.

OMG... U GUYS and Fly On The Wall won... Serenity (Far Right) is holding the trophy for 5th place for Fly on the Wall. They got Gold too. They were all so good and we are all proud of all these girls.

My baby girl has been so sick

I got a call from Serenity's school on Thursday saying that she was in the nurses office and was crying because her throat was hurting her. The nurse said that she checked her throat and it looked like she had puss pockets on her right side. So of course my first thought was that she had strep throat.
BINGO!
We went straight to the Dr's. office and they took her right in. Sure enough she had strep. Its now Tuesday and I took her in yesterday morning and she had come down with MONO... ugh!!!
I am so stressed as it is with all the crap going on... I really don't want her to have to miss everything just because she has gotten sick.
She has been on the new medicine since yesterday and she is already 75% better.
This makes for good news. She has Dance practice tonight twice and she has a kickball game as well. She is going to be worn out... I just don't want to drain her to the point that she gets sick again.
Tomorrow she has splash day at school for making A honor roll and I don't know if I want to let her participate because I don't need her starting the process of getting sick all over again.

I am going to be one busy busy momma!

preparing for a busy DANCE schedule

This morning has been so crazy, crazy hectic. I woke up on the early side (for me) this morning. I had to make sure that I got the seats for Serenity's recital bought and paid for at a good time or we wouldn't have gotten good seats. Sadly I didn't have the hubby's help and had to get the neighbor (Ben and Michelle) to help me cause I had no idea what I was doing by myself. Thankfully too; they were able to print them out for me because we don't have any ink in our printer.

What a load off my shoulders for the day!!

This weekend is Serenity's competition in Houston and we will be driving up there on Friday afternoon. I want to be sure that we get there with enough time to relax the night before. I am trying to find a shirt by Friday that says DANCE MOM on it all blinged out... we will have to see how that goes considering I am plus size it might be hard to find!

I am looking forward to this weekend!

Kickball Tournament!

Our Stingrays had a kickball tournament in Flour Bluff today and they played hard. It was an all day affair and the did such a good job! They didn't win any of the 3 games that they played, but the point is that they had fun! They even got a trophy at the end for playing so hard and doing such a good job! I am so proud of our Stingrays!

We will be celebrating with you this afternoon and having your birthday party on Sunday!

Serenity's Dance Competition 4-2-11

Serenity had a surprise Dance Competition.
Sadly we were out of town due to a friend having back surgery and were unable to attend.
They won several awards for this dance and we are so proud of them!

Grandma and Aunt Aurora had to go in our place.
I was so bummed that I didn't get to see my daughter perform, but I am so glad that someone thought to record it!
Aunt Aurora was supposed to record it, but while recording dropped her camera and it deleted the video! things happen! But we are so happy to be able to share it with you!

KICKBALL SEASON 2011 It has begun

Kickball has begun!

We are so excited, yet nervous. We have so much going on and to do.
Serenity still has dance in the midst of it all so we have to make sure that we stay on track and do what is important!
She may miss a few games of kickball due to dance, but I figure that Dance is something that I pay more for. So the decision isn't hard. ;op

MA DANCE COMPETITION

Serenity had a really great time at the MA Dance Competition this past weekend! I have to say that I did as well.
I am looking forward to the next competition that is being held in Houston Tx.
