Not ready to go yet

I have to say that this has been the longest and yet the shortest vacation that I have been on in a long time.
Its long because the fact that I have had medical issues since I got here; and short because I havent been able to spend that much time with my friends and family.
Its hard to believe that we have been here for a month. Hard to believe to say the least.
I wish that we could stay longer but with the medical conditions that I'm going through and the fact that we have animals at home that we need to get back to; I have to go home.
Its time and I know that it is, but we are really starting to think about the fact that we want to move up here someday soon.
I am really going to miss Kim and Becky. Especially since I have been here for this short yet long period of time already. I must say that I am ready to go home, but I am not looking forward to having to leave and say goodbye to everyone.
I miss them already and I havent even left yet!

Still in Ky, but coming home soon!

It has been a crazy somewhat ending to this long vacation that we decided to take last minute to Kentucky.
I have to say that I haven't had the best of luck with this trip but it was all together a blast.
The kids have been good through the whole ordeal and I am very proud of them both.
As I wrote on my FaceBook account this morning...
We have been in Kentucky since June 3rd and I (Charlotte) ended up in the Hospital on the 14th. (Will hopefully be getting out of the Hospital tomorrow after Lunch sometime.) I was diagnosed with kidney stones again and when they went to put the stint in surgically; they also found a cysts. When all was said and done; I also came down with pneumonia... God has been with me through it all...! AMEN!!!
I just have to say that its going to be good to get home, but that I am not doing a dag on thing when I do get home because I need the rest!

Headed out

Well we are headed out to eat while Becky and Wally go to the race track and watch a few races. We have been so fortunate as to be able to go out and have fun as much as we can on this trip and I am grateful to say the least.
I love it here. Its so peaceful.
As I type this I sit and watch out of Becky's window the birds eating out of a feeder sock that they have strategically placed right in front of the window and computer.
So needless to say I guess that I will post later tonight.
We will be heading to the Cincinnati Zoo in the morning!

Tired from a long trip...

I am so tired that its not funny and I am exhausted from this trip. Its OK though because Becky understands and she has let us sleep in for the most part when it comes to doing things. I love it here and am excited to say that we might be thinking about moving here in the near future. It has nothing to do with my mother. I have come to realize that my parents just don't play a role in my life like I thought that I wanted them to. I don't want to lose contact with them, but the fact of the matter is that I don't want to deal with the drama of their own issues and add them to mine. Everyone in life has drama, but I try my darnedest to stay away from it as much as possible.

In Kentucky Because...

Well let me tell you the whole reason why we are in Kentucky.
Well; My best friend Becky is pregnant and I was told that she was having her baby shower this past weekend so I though what better time than now than to com up here and visit. I surprised the heck out of her to say the least.
She was so excited that she screamed when I walked into the shower at her church. I think that she scared everyone to the point that they thought that something was seriously wrong with her. You know cause she's preggers.
Anyways; I was just glad that I could surprise her the way that I did and that we are together having a great time in Kentucky.

Kentucky Bound and Fun

OK so I haven't posted in a while. Things have been crazy in our neck of the woods.
We are in Kentucky right now visiting family and friends.
It was sort of a last minute trip that we decided to make since we hadn't been here in about 3 years and my BEST FRIEND Becky was having her baby shower this past weekend. It was so much fun to be able to walk into the baby shower and surprise her the way that we did. I don't think that she will ever forget it. I know that I wont.
The kids weren't too crazy about the ride up here, but since we have gotten here they have been so good and ready to do whatever this state has to offer.

So far we have been to allot of different restaurants, stores, and different things of that nature. I have mainly been staying at my moms house up here, but we will be staying at Becky's next week so that I can have more time with her and then also have that time that I need with Kim.

It has been so much fun up here.

We took the kids to Coney Island the second day that we were here and we got to ride all sorts of fun amusement rides. We have also been to the local water park here and I got a sunburn that just wont quit. I have had all sorts of fun and even though I have been in pain cause the sunburn, I have endured it and am not looking forward to going home.

I have to say that we have been looking at houses up here and are really thinking about moving here in the very near future. It will be great all around for us as a family and for our kids.
