Give Thanks!

Give thanks with a grateful heart,

Give thanks to the Holy One,
Give thanks because He's given
Jesus Christ His Son.

And now let the weak say "I am strong."
Let the poor say "I am rich."
Because of what the Lord has done
for us.

Give thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving!

What are you thankful for?

I am so thankful for the life that we live here in America.
I am thankful for the God that I serve.
I am thankful for mt loving husband and beautiful kids.
I am thankful that I have a roof over my head and food on the table every night.
I am thankful that I have a family that loves me.
I am thankful that I have friends that I can share myself with and my thoughts and prayers too.

I am thankful for my health for the most part and for the fact that the Lord has given me another day.

What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Prayer Request

I just got a phone call from my husband telling me that my sister has been admitted to the hospital due to the fact that the baby that she is carrying is dehydrated. She is only 3 months along; so this is not a good sign. I'm worried about her and especially the baby.
She has been vomiting lately; its to the point that she hasn't been able to keep anything down. She doesn't eat half the time because she cant keep anything down. I don't know what to do. What can I do other than pray for her and this child.

I will keep you updated as much as I can.
my sister's name is Clorise
Please pray! Thank you so much.

My appointment went well

I had an appointment with my Urologist today to let me know when I will be having the surgery to remove the pesky little stint that I have. I finally have a set date and an x ray that I have to have before I go in to the next appointment. I am looking forward to this all getting taken care of. I have to be on medication most likely for the rest of my life, but I am ok with that as long as the pain is gone or at least to a minimum. I am so tired of being in pain and thinking that I am never going to get past this. Its horrible to have to go through this every day. I just cant wait till the day that I can say that I no longer have pain. I may never be to where I will never have kidney stones, but as long as it is manageable I am ok with that.
He has me taking these med's and drinking baking soda water after every meal so I have to force myself to do these things. Whatever it takes to get better is all that I am going to do. I want to be healthy for myself, my kids, and husband.

So if you get the chance and you think about me; remember to pray that I get better and that the Lord heals me. I just want to live a normal life as a mommy, wife, and servant of God.

Bless you all.

Yesterday was a pretty fair day to say the least.
I was up late the night before decorating the tree with the family so I was tired and slept in as much as I could.

Last night was the best part of my day.
My hubby took me to see NEW MOON!!!!
We went to the theater to see it at 6 and when we got there they said that it was SOLD OUT. I freaked cause I really wanted to see it.
So we looked and there were a few seats available for the 6:30 showing and that's what we bought.
When I saw the line that we were going to have to wait in a was not happy because I was already not feeling well and my back was hurting me too.
Well we saw that the 6pm showing was filing into the theater and I told Michael to go in and see if there were any seats that were available and he did so needless to say we snuck in there and watched the 6 pm showing. I was happy too cause it was a long movie and I still had to go home and get the kids in bed so that my daughter could go to school this morning. The kids were at my sisters house while we went.
Ill probably be going to see it again soon, I am hoping that I will be able to take Danielle on Tuesday and that Michael will watch the kids for us while we go.

Also my sister wants to see it, so I'll either be taking her or watching her kids to that she can go see it soon.

Its Decorating Time

That's it! i have decided that I am going to go out and buy my tree today! I want to decorate and I want to feel merry.
The kids have been asking me when we are going to do it, and I think that today is the day. I cant wait! I want to go with a fake tree this year mainly cause I don't want to deal with all the needles this year with the fact that Andrews allergies have been acting up again.

I'm so excited. I want to go with a theme this year too!
Just haven't figures that out yet, but when I go to the actual store and see the things that they have; I'm sure that I will know right away!

This was our tree last year!

Plans ahead

It has been a long week and the weekend just seemed to have flown by.
I hate that!

This next weekend we will be going to Danielle's house to celebrate their new house.
Its going to be fun too, cause we will also be having games and such for a baby shower. She is due in December. I cant believe how the time has flown by so quickly.

I am looking forward to it because it means that I will be able to get out of the house for few hours hopefully and be able to associate with friends that I haven't seen in a while.
SO I am looking forward to it.

Michael also has a job interview that day, so I am and will be doing allot of praying. He needs it!

So needless to say this next week and the weekend are going to fun yet crazily busy!

Wouldn't have it any other way!

Wednesdays for Wyatt

Here we go! Our third Wednesday for Wyatt! It’s quite simple to participate. All you have to do is copy and paste this post on your blog, and come back here to link up with MckLinky! Once you do that, your all set to win a great giveaway.

So far, we are up to 1,443 signatures! Lets try to keep them steadily rolling in.

For those of you who are not familiar with my family and what we are trying to achieve, here’s a brief run down...

Our son Wyatt was diagnosed with a fatal condition at our 18 week ultrasound, but chose to carry him to term. We waited to meet our son with love, all the time praying we would get to see him alive.

On June 1, 2009, Wyatt made his way into the world by c-section. To our amazement he had a faint heartbeat and was breathing! He died two minutes later, but I’ve clung to the two minutes my son and I breathed the same air since his passing.

Upon calling to get a copy of Wyatt’s birth certificate, I found out he was listed as a stillborn. You would assume it was a mistake (like I did), but there was no mistake. According to the definition of live birth in Tennessee my son was not “alive enough” to be deemed a live born baby. His two minutes of life has gone unrecognized by my state, and I intend to change this piece of legislation so I can solidify the validity of my son’s short life.

Wednesdays for Wyatt was created to help spread awareness for a law that needs to be changed, as well as to generate more traffic to my petition. So if you’re reading this, thanks for taking the time to help our family!

This contest will be open today only. I will close MckLinky down sometime before midnight, so make sure you get linked up ASAP to make sure you are entered to win this giveaway! Thanks for helping everyone, and good luck.

rain outside

It started pouring down rain a few minutes ago.
I still have to go and get Serenity from the bus stop so it looks like I will be taking the car to go and get her. Either that or the umbrella.

I have had a pretty numb day. I woke up about an hour ago. I haven't been feeling well again lately and I think that the fact that I haven't had enough sleep is starting to catch up with me.
I maybe get a few hours of sleep a night. 2-3 hours if that!
I go to the Dr. in the morning, but I can honestly tell you that I don't know what he is going to do.
I am hoping that he can just give me something that will help me sleep and feel better!

I finally got down to business and am going to be taking the kids Christmas pictures soon.
I just hope that they come out descent. I love that I get to dress them up and take their pictures. I'm thinking of doing the cards this year with their pictures in them.
So I am excited about that!
