Serenity is 5 Today!!!
My Beauty Sleeping... I cant believe that 5 years has come already. Youre a whole hand now! So many big steps this year, starting school, playing kickball.
My goodness you are a big girl now.
My goodness you are a big girl now.
I can still remember holding you thinking "heres this little person who needs me and depends on me. I have to do right by her"
You have grown into such a little lady but as your great great grandmother Starlene would say "you are quite the spitfire"
You are already completely independant and intellegent. Sometimes you amaze me with your knowledge! You are also a total girly girl which I have to say I love that about you.
I cant wait to see what you become in the next 5 years. (Serenity 1 year)(Serenity 2 Years)(Serenity 3 Years)(Serenity 4 Years)(Serenity 5 Years)
My, My, My; How my little angel has grown!

RUMOR OR REEL?: Twilight Screenwriter Says Bring On Channing Tatum!!!
If you’re a fan of the Twilight books and/or movies, then you may find today’s news item even more interesting than most…
E! News is reporting that at least one very important person in the movie adaptations of Stephenie Meyer’s vampire love story thinks Channing Tatum would be perfect to play bad-boy vampire Riley in Eclipse, the third in the four-book series.
“There’s a very big battle at the end with Riley, and I think Channing would do that so well,” Twilight and New Moon screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who is currently writing the Eclipse script, told E! News this weekend at the Los Angeles Times Book Festival benefit for the Writers Guild Foundation.
“And there are some complexities to that character,” she adds. “He really is tragic. He’s a puppet for Victoria [bad-girl vampire played by Rachelle Lefevre]. So he has to break your heart a little bit at the end when he realizes that she doesn’t want him. Channing could do that beautifully.”
Ironically, my friend Wendy, who’s a HUGE Twilight fan, said the exact same thing to me last week. From what she’s told me about the character, it seems to fit well with Chan’s love of physical, yet dramatic, roles.
Only time will tell on this one, but knowing Chan’s fan base as I do, I think the prospect of a role in the Twilight series would be pretty exciting to fans far and wide.

Today's Events
Serenity's kickball game went well today. They are actually counting the outs and everything. Serenity did really well; So did Miranda. I am so proud of them. Miranda especially. She is doing so well with trying to get into the game and play compared to just playing in the dirt...LOL!
We have a birthday party to go to tomorrow afternoon at Guth Park here in Anniville and we will be celebrating Jazzy's 6th Birthday! Serenity cant wait to get to go and I still have to get a gift together with Danielle. I think that we are making a trip to Walmart soon.
Serenity and Andrew went with Daddy to go to the Buc Day's Parade that they have for just the kids and I stayed home and got some much needed rest. Haven't been feeling to well due to the fact that Aunt Flow is visiting and I hurt my ankle this morning at the kickball game. Just twisted it or something and its a little sore. They were gone pretty much the most of the day and went to the local pizza place with Aunt Aurora, Grandma, and Daddy to eat. The kids brought home a water slide that grandma and Aurora bought and a Frisbee to play outside with.
(The Kids in their Whataburger Masks that they got at the Buc Day's Parade)
So that's what we are about to do...We are headed outside to let the kids play in the water slide and get wet and wild!!! I'll try and post pics later!

In Kickball News
Serenity had kickball practice last night and we found out that there will be 5 girls moving up into the next league next year. They are going to be working on these few girls to be sure that they learn how to pitch for the games and learn how to pass the ball instead of just taking it to the bases as they learned from the beginning. I cant wait till she gets to play next year. I just hope that she gets a good coach and that I don't have to deal with the drama that I have dealt with the past 2 years.
Our shirts came in a week ago. Don't get me started!!! We had some issues with the shirts this year as one of the ladies that ordered them had no clue what she was doing and just simply got my shirt wrong and didn't even put some of the names and numbers on the shirts. It shouldn't have been that difficult to read what the moms wrote and call if she needed or had any questions that needed answered.
We are hoping to get some pictures ordered off the website soon so that I can send them out to various family members. We looked at the website for kickball and they have some pretty good action shots this year that I would like to actually order. The professional pictures have yet to come in yet; so I am looking forward to receiving those as well.
Coke orders went well for the most part. The cokes came in but the poweraides seemed to have been misplaced or just didnt come in with the orders. I dont know but they are saying that they will have them delivered soon.

Relaxing and looking forward to things ahead
I'm sitting here in the living room at 1:30 in the morning watching a movie with my husband.
We are watching Into the Blue 2: The Reef.
Its a pretty good movie. He likes it mainly cause it has his favorite actress in it.
Audrina Patridge.
I am waiting anxiously the arrival of Serenity's kickball pictures because I need to make copies and send them to family. I am looking forward to celebrating Serenity's 5th Birthday Party. We are thinking of doing a swimming party or something of the sort.
Andrew will be starting T-Ball soon in the fall and I am so looking forward to it. I cant wait to see him out in the field and also batting. I can not wait to see him in his little uniform all dressed and ready to play.
Its just another reminder that they are growing up too fast.
I have been stressed the past few days and hubby seems to notice. I get so wrapped in what is going on that I don't think about how it effects the people around me. I just need to let things roll off my shoulders. I need to learn to just not worry about it and leave it in God's hands.
I know that He is going to provide for us and that He will lead us and help us through it all.

Struggles of Life
It has been a difficult past couple of days. I am or should I say that i should be used to it, but I have to say that this one took me by surprise.
I am stressed to say the least about it, but I have to continue on for my kids. I am not ready for whats ahead, but I have no choice in the matter.
I want you to know that no matter what I respect you and that you are the person that I trust more than anyone in my life. I look forward to whats ahead and I realize that I wouldn't have it any other way.

Today has been a day...
Found out last night that the Bestie is pregger's. Went with her today to find out the 'for sure' results today and she is due around December 18th or so. Give or take a few days. I am so excited for her and the family.
We went to the movies today with the kids and watched the new Hannah Montana movie. It was really sweet and cute to watch. And to watch Serenity as she watched it was so memorable and sweet. Makes me wish that I was able to give her that dream one day. I know that there may be a time in her life that she may want a dream and I may not be able to give it to her. That honestly breaks my heart.
I found out today that a childhood friend of mine died in a motorcycle accident. His funeral is in the morning and I have to say that I want to go, but that I don't think that I will be able to make it. I pray mostly that his family is dealing with their loss the best that they can but also that they feel peace about it. It funny how life works out!

Resurrection Sunday!!!
Today was a fabulous day to say the Least!
Easter Sunday or as we call it...
Resurrection Sunday!
Easter Sunday or as we call it...
Resurrection Sunday!
We went to church and then we went to the in laws house; and we had a BBQ and pretty much did all the Easter necessities. Hiding Eggs, Easter Egg Hunting, Coloring Eggs, and then the fact that we ate enough to feed an army. Oh My Word; I am so freaking full that I could kill over. I am so tired that I could go in there and fall asleep as soon as I hit the bed...Zzzzz....!!!
Here is a picture that was taken this morning before we left to church. Mommy had to take the picture which is why you do not see me in it. Daddy hasn't had any pictures really with the kids lately so therefor its better this way.
Here is a picture with the inlaws minus a few...Aaron, Reuben, Twoey, and Laurie are missing!(Mom, Charlotte, Michael, Aurora, Serenity, and Andrew)

I have to say that I think that the James Character is totally freaking HOTT!!!If you cant seem to pinpoint the fact that you know him from somewhere; think back to the movie...

TWILIGHT
I have been reading the Twilight book because I have watched the movie so many times and have been told that the book is WAY BETTER than the movie.
I have come to realize that it all depends on if you are a visual person or someone that can see what you actually read in a book.
I personally think that the book is a little different than the movie; which is a given, but there are allot of differences. I can say this; The book is better when it comes to the details.
I honestly can not wait to see the New Moon....
Sick Friday
Don't know how the weekend is going to go now; due to the fact that Michael is now sick with food poisoning. Don't know where he got that from... Seriously don't!
I haven't cooked in the past few days because we have been eating with a friend every night. Well I take that back; I have cooked some small things but that's about it.
Anyways; Michael was up most of the night vomiting due to that and I was up as well because when he gets sick he gets sick. I mean he makes the noises worse than anyone that I have ever met in my life.
Anyways; I am sure that he will feel batter in a few hours with me shoving some med's down his throat. Literally because he can not swallow pills for nothing. If its not one thing its another!
Oh well; I figured that one of the kids would get sick!!!
Ill let you know how it all goes down!

Easter Weekend and Such!
We don't have a kickball game this weekend due to the fact that it is Easter Weekend.
We didn't have practice last night as well because half the people were going out of town or working. I'm glad cause the week has honestly been a good and busy week.
We should be getting our t-shirts in the next few days or so. I am looking forward to what those are gonna look like as well.
Easter weekend should be totally fun. The kids are getting their baskets from Grandma this year, which I like cause I don't have to get all that crap together.
I hate all that Easter grass and the crappy eggs. Honestly I think that Easter is so over rated...Its about the Resurrection of Christ... Not some dumb old bunny that hides eggs everywhere...!!!

Had a Great Weekend...
Had a great weekend... Got to spend some much needed time alone with Michael and the kids got to go to the beach this weekend with Danielle and Jon. Serenity made a new friend. Sadly though I wasn't able to get a pic in so that she would have something to remember her till she comes and visits again. Serenity was sad to see Jordan go, but I know that she is looking forward to getting to see her again.
We went and saw Fast and the Furious 4 this weekend and I have to say that it was well worth the wait in line to see it. We also went to Chicken Shack to eat as we always do when we decide to go on a spare of the moment run to town and spend time together.
Michael can be such a gentleman... He is such a great husband. I am so glad that I have him. He is so understanding and sweet. I was truly blessed the day that the Lord decided to bring him into my life.
